Goodbye Bad Times by Oakey Moroder
Just remembered this song the other day and it’s been playing in my head ever since! One of those never-played-again-on-the-radio songs from the 80’s.
Goodbye Bad Times Lyrics by Phil Oakey and Giorgio Moroder
I’m gonna to change my luck tonight
Don’t want to cry anymore
Not gonna to take what fortune brings
I’m going to make my own law
Goodbye bad times
Goodbye ever more
Goodbye bad times
I’m gonna to walk out your door
I think I’m happy now
And I think I’m in love
I’m free at last somehow
I’m gonna stay here above
Goodbye bad times
Goodbye ever more
Goodbye bad times
I’m gonna walk out your door
And now the sun is shining down
The way that I foresaw
And if I have to face the clouds
I’ll beat them like before
Goodbye bad times
Goodbye ever more
Goodbye bad times
I’m gonna walk out your door
And now the sun is shining down
The way that I foresaw
And if I have to face the clouds
I’ll beat them like before
Goodbye bad times
Goodbye ever more
Goodbye bad times
I’m gonna walk out your door
Goodbye bad times
Goodbye ever more
Goodbye bad times
I’m gonna walk
The End of Lost Please Explain

Lost Finale Review.
Since all throughout the Lost TV series they added some Stephen King aspect to it, it shouldn’t be too surprising that they decided to end the Lost story in a bizzaro way like the Sixth Sense. Although I thought the ending was brilliant – as in Jack ending up in the exact same spot he did at the very beginning, I can’t help but feel cheated.
I did get a glimpse of some reviews about what people thought of the Lost Finale before watching it and took note that it wasn’t positive. I then started coming up with all sorts of scenarios of how bad it was going to be but when I finally sat down to watch it, it was almost the worst case scenario! You could say that The Lost ending is comparable to a story ending in a dream. In my head I was thinking…”so you mean to say, Lost was nothing more but six seasons of the characters walking around dead?”. Is this how it was? Please explain!
A perfect ending of Lost for me would have been if it was: just as they were flying off the island, there’s another time changing flash and then the island disappears. Then they show another plane crashing on the island, which could indicate that a new adventure will start again for a new bunch of people.
Even though the Lost Finale left me unsatisfied, I have to say that it was great to see the reunion of the original Lost cast. I got quite emotional seeing the Sayid/Shannon and Sawyer/Juliet moments, but where was Michael and Walt? Why wasn’t Anna Lucia at the church? Why was Penny there? What was the story with Charles Whitmore, Dan, Charlotte and Miles? So did all those things really happen but it happened when they were dead?

I’m no Lost writer, so I could come up with all sorts of scenarios in my head for what would have been an ideal ending for me, but what they gave us is what it is. Most of the way through Lost, I was “lost” and confused and now that the show has ended, I still feel the same!

The Best of Lost TV Show
Unlike the general population, I only started getting into Lost a month or so ago! The hubby and I have been having a Lost marathon over the past few weekends and we’ve even put our regular TV shows on hold, with the exception of Survivor.
I wanted to get into Lost when it first came out, but wasn’t able to and before I knew it, there were several seasons of it. I did see a few bits and pieces of episodes on TV and thought they were very well done, but it was hard to catch up on what going on with Lost if you didn’t see the very beginning.
My Favourite Characters on Lost:
Charlie

I don’t know what it was about this dude, perhaps it was the actor who I liked from Lord of the Rings, but whatever it was, Charlie was a fav of mine from the start.
Sawyer

His story was great and his character was fun at the beginning and he was quite likeable, even if he wasn’t meant to be with the people he was stuck with. Towards the end, perhaps, during and after the LeFleur stage, I found him a bit too grumpy and serious for my liking, which was a contrast from what he was at the start.
Desmond

I saw the Desmond time travel episode on TV a few years back and thought it was brilliant. It’s one of my favourite episodes of Lost and Desmond became one of my favourite characters. I felt sorry and sad for the guy and I’m glad they are showing him a bit differently during the last couple of episodes in this final season – as in he’s not so much as a victim but an important character who are bringing the major characters together in the alternate world.
Best Moments in Lost:
There were a few emotional scenes and episodes where I got teary eyed, including “Greatest Hits” when Charlie sacrificed himself to get rescue for everyone. Also, the episode when Sun gave birth and they revealed that Jin wasn’t alive or rescued with her left me with that shocked, open-mouthed expression. There were also a few laughs but I think the funniest moment in the show for me was when Jin was telling a ghost story in Korean over the camp fire and nobody really understood him.
So many episodes later, I can’t recall everything even though I only got into it last month. Like everyone else who watches Lost, I can’t wait to see how they wrap this up.
